It Started With a Jacket...
I was born in Peru and raised in Houston, Texas. Every summer as a kid, I flew back to Lima — and I remember watching my family in the markets, pressing leather between their fingers, smelling it, holding it up to the light. Because if you couldn't tell the difference, a salesman would happily sell you "leather" that cracked and peeled within a year.
But when they found the real thing, it lasted a lifetime. My uncle handed me a leather jacket he'd worn for decades. It wasn't worn out — it was broken in. Better than the day he bought it.
That's what real leather does. And it's what most of the world has forgotten.
Andoros exists for one reason: so you never have to wonder if what you're holding is real.

Most "Leather" Is a Lie
"Genuine leather" is an industry euphemism for the lowest grade there is. PU leather cracks. Bonded leather peels. And somewhere along the way, we forgot that leather can last decades or a lifetime (depending on the care, of course).

Built to Be Handed Down
Full-grain leather doesn't wear out — it develops a patina, a record of everywhere it's been with you. Every Andoros piece strives to become your next heirloom: the journal you fill for a decade, the duffle bag your kid asks about someday.
